Measured Surveys
We carry out Measured Surveys of Commercial building interiors, recording the building outline, but also capturing elements such as office furniture, floor boxes, ceiling grids and lighting.
Once we have the survey completed we transfer the information to a fully editable layered cad drawing.
Once these drawing are created we can keep records of changes and plan new layouts, Add offices, meeting rooms etc. but also keep up to date record drawing of Power & Data and high level services such as lighting and A/C outlets.
We can also produce fire drawings for your building.
Space Planning & Design
At Sphere Interiors, we specialize in planning and re-planning office layouts to suit your needs. If your existing desk layout drawings are outdated or non-existent, we offer surveying services to accurately plot the location of each desk, as well as offices and meeting rooms.

Operating throughout the UK, including London, our team is proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup, enabling us to deliver 2D and 3D drawings.
While many companies may have PDF drawings, they often prove impractical when modifications are necessary due to their non-editable nature. They are generally out of date because of this.

For significant office furniture reorganizations involving wall relocations or additions, we highly recommend a ceiling survey. This process entails mapping the current locations of light fittings, air conditioning units, fire alarms, and other relevant fixtures. Overlaying this information on the proposed layout allows us to identify necessary fixture relocations and determine any additional requirements.
Furthermore, capturing the positions of power and data outlets (floor boxes) is crucial but often challenging when existing furniture obstructs access. Nevertheless, understanding these locations is pivotal for a new layout. Once we have your floor plan in our Autocad Software program we can work on furniture layouts and general Space Planning. Working with the surveyed plan we can accurately calculate floor areas.
Even letting you know how much room each department is taking up. This can be given to you as coloured diagrams.
The Space planning stage is where we would take a brief from you to extract the information we need to commence design layout drawings.

When it comes to planning in new or existing desks we can give you several layout options to see what works best.
We will also consider any future expansion requirements you may have.
We can plan your existing desks or new desks and show you furniture layouts that demonstrate which size desk works best. Sometimes going with a smaller 1400mm desks rather than 1600mm desks can get you those all important extra workstations into the same space.
Sphere Interiors 3d visuals can really give you real insight and feel of how your refurbishment will look. We produce a digital 3d model of your building or office space. Using Autocad & Sketchup we can then create stunning 3d rendered views. These can be still images or converted to 360 degree views.
The 360 views are presented in your web browser and can be shared with colleagues by sharing the URL Ideal if you want to discuss design aspects with colleagues.
360 Degree views give you the ability to view the the area around you form one standing point. You can navigate with your mouse or if viewed on your mobile devise you can just move the device to rotate the view.

To save time and cost, 3d visuals should be created when the interior planning stage has got to a point where most things have been agreed in terms of layout.
It is also an advantage to let us know if you were considering having 3d visuals produced. If we are aware we can survey three dimensional information when we carry out a survey. Ceiling heights, door heights, Window heights etc
If preferred you can just have visuals of a certain part of the office/building. Perhaps a reception area or a Breakout kitchen for example.
Sphere Interiors specialise is 360 Virtual Tours.
Primarily tours of interior spaces but also exterior spaces.
These high quality tours can be created from virtual 3d models created by us but also from 4k Photographic images taken on site.
Once complete these 360 Tours allow you to walk through your site and look around in all directions.
Viewable On a PC Screen, Mobile device or even a VR Headset.
All tours can be constructed and themed to coordinate with your company branding.

Ideally the 360 Photography should be carried out when the site is free of people, however sometimes this is just not possible.
Thee are now ways that we can omit people and other objects from the images in post production.
